12 Walk on the Mediaeval Border. Part of Borders Heritage Week. A 6 mile walk from Coldstream past Wark Castle to Hirsel. Meet 11am car part, Castle Hotel, Coldstream.

14 Walkerburn's Hydro Heritage. A 5.5 mile ranger-led walk above Innerleithen and Walkerburn. Bring packed lunch. Meet 11:30am car park on A709, Innerleithen; Grid NT 332368

17 Talk & Walk: stargazing at Bowhill. The last in the autumn series; join Peter Flannery for a talk followed by stargazing. Meet 7pm Bowhill Visitor Centre, Selkirk
